Bidirectional hollow reinforced concrete slabs with up to 25% structural weight reduction — saving concrete, steel and embodied carbon.
Volimax voided slab system creates bidirectional hollow reinforced concrete slabs, also called voided slabs, by forming air gaps in the slab that are fully covered with concrete. Volimax voided slab system are concrete shaping elements made of recycled PP and they are only used once. The system reduces total structural weight up to 25%, saving on concrete and steel.
Up to 25% lighter
Total structural weight reduced by up to 25% versus solid slabs.
Less concrete & steel
Significant savings on concrete volume and steel reinforcement.
Bidirectional strength
Air gaps fully covered by concrete form a monolithic two-way slab.
Faster construction
Prefabricated units speed up slab installation on site.
Circular economy
Elements made from recycled PP, used once, contributing to lower embodied carbon.
Design flexibility
Adaptable to a wide range of spans, loads and architectural layouts.
